  • Dedicated 150+ hours over the fall semester working with Katie Arlinghaus, RD, TakeCHARGE interventionists, and the HOUSTON Academy, to research predictions of early response to school based obesity interventions.

  • Produced a poster to represent the research conducted and presented it at the Obesity Week conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

UH Food and Nutrition Ambassadors

  • Dedicated 100+ hours over the summer semester working with Dr. Daphne Hernandez, PhD, MSEd, and the HOUSTON Academy, to research immigration fears of the Latino population.

  • Produced a poster to represent the research conducted and presented it at the National Council of Family Relations conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
